Nashville – My New Love Affair

How do you introduce a new love to someone? It’s easy to get carried away, painting everything in glowing colors when it’s all new and exciting. So I’ll try to keep it cool and start from the beginning — how we first met.
Our first encounter was a few years ago on a family road trip. We rented a small house in Sylvan Park, wandered down Broadway, and peeked into a few music studios and guitar shops. A tiny spark of curiosity was born that trip — and last summer we came back, only for a few days that passed way too fast. That’s when we realized this city has layers. You need time to really get to know her.
When the cherry blossoms bloomed, we returned again. We ran the Rock ’n’ Roll 5K together, met new friends, caught The Outlaws live, and soaked up incredible music on Broadway and a bunch of other stages. We took a drive out to the countryside, strolled through Leipers Fork (a must see), ate BBQ, and met even more amazing people.
Then came summer — and, of course, we were back once more. We stayed a full week at the same hotel and loved every second of it. Sun and thunderstorms took turns, but that same warmth surrounded us the whole time.
Since then, Nashville and Tennessee have had our hearts. We read everything we can find, learn a little more each time, and keep dreaming about spending even more time here.
Our hearts beat for all the wonderful people and the insanely talented musicians who fill this city with music and joy 24/7. Southern Hospitality hits different.
